HE the Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari met with dignitaries from several financial and governmental institutions, and international banks on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2022 in Davos.
During the meetings, bilateral relations were discussed and areas of joint co-operation explored.
The meetings were held, among others, with Airlangga Hartarto, Co-ordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and Ueli Maurer, Head of the Federal Department of Finance of the Swiss Federal Council. Meetings focused on bilateral relations between Qatar and the two countries and means to enhance them, and reviewed aspects of co-operation.
Also, al-Kuwari met Bill Winters CEO of Standard Chartered; Christian Sewing, CEO of Deutsche Bank; David Schwimmer, CEO of London Stock Exchange Group; Axel Lehmann, Chairperson of Credit Suisse and with Thomas P (Todd) Gibbons, CEO, BNY Mellon. Bilateral relations were discussed.
